Second Chance Thrift Store was opened to create a source of funds for the work being done in Sierra Leone at Jonathan’s Child Care. In addition to supporting the work at JCC, the store also helps various local ministries. We strive to be a safe, clean and friendly place to shop. Donations and revenue earned through Second Chance are making a local and global impact every day.
This store is primarily run through the support of volunteers. Volunteer tasks can including receiving and sorting through donations, tagging and pricing items, putting items out for display and checking customers out at the register. For more information on how to become a volunteer, or to fill out a volunteer form, stop in and talk to our manager.
Donations are what keep Second Chance Thrift Store going. We accept typical household things like clothing, furniture, kitchen items, books, toys, home restoration tools, windows, sports equipment, and much more. Contact us with any questions about what and how to donate.
